Unless otherwise stated, photographs on this site are used under the Unsplash License, which permits free commercial use and self-hosting and does not require attribution. Credits are listed here anyway as good practice. The two microscopy textures originate from the US National Cancer Institute and are in the public domain. A licensing record for every published image is maintained off-site in the project's rights register.

Typefaces

Headings and interface use Libre Franklin; article body text uses Newsreader; monospaced text uses your device's system monospace font. Both webfonts are open typefaces under the SIL Open Font License, delivered through Google Fonts (which receives the standard request data, such as IP address, needed to serve the font files).

Software

The site is a static build generated with the Astro framework and served as static files. It runs no advertising or analytics trackers and sets no tracking cookies. Open-source components are used under their respective licenses; their notices are retained in the project's build.
